What is a Health Coach?

In a nutshell, Health Coaches help you BRIDGE your wellness goals with your reality. 

A Health Coach (me!) is a person who works with you to facilitate healthy, sustainable behavior changes.  I do this by challenging you to recognize and listen to your inner wisdom, identify your core values, and transform your goals into action.

Think of me as you would a driving instructor.  We are in the car together. You are steering the car, and I’m guiding you to where you need to go. 

What do I do for you?

I will help you:

  • Identify your goals
  • Create and achieve small steps toward your goal
  • Improve your self-management
  • Learn how to stay motivated
  • Be here for accountability and cheer for you along the way \

 

I will NOT:

  • Bark orders at you
  • Shame you for not reaching a goal
  • Encourage unrealistic goals or time frames

 

My job is not to tell you what your goals should be, but to show you how to reach the goals you have set for yourself.
